I first arrived at Chevy Chase Elementary in 1994 fresh out of graduate school as a first-year teacher. I originally taught 3rd grade, then worked as an instructional specialist.  In 2004, I became the science lab teacher at CCES along with serving as the Gifted and Talented coordinator and Green School coordinator. I joined the team at the Center for the Highly Gifted teaching math, science and writing in 5th grade in 2010.  Twenty-three years at CCES is proof positive that it's the best place to teach and learn.
